Fly fishing in fishpond

Went to fly fishing with my daughter to a fishpond close to Tokyo. This is first fly fishing in her life. 

Basic fly casting

You know, Mel Krieger is the most famous fly casting instructor and he is my idol. ;) Actually I learned fly casting skill from his video and book.

Now, I will teach fly fishing to six years old my girl as I look back at Mel!

Offer to January fishing trip 2015

We will offer fishing trip at January 31st.

It's winter and fishes are very slow and actually it is difficult for fishing but we will spend lovely time in riverside: enjoy landscape, have a coffee and just a chatting. ;)

Fish on dry fly midge.

• Fish: Japanese small minnow "Oikawa" and grow up to 15cm/6inc. It's so lovely fish!
• Type of fishing: Fly fishing or pole fishing (with maggot) as you like. We will using #20 size hook.
• Destination: Karikawa river where is close to Odawara in Kanagawa pref.
• Meeting and departure point: The southgate of JR Sinjuku station at 9:00 am. And we will go to the river by train "Odakyu line".
• The price: 7,000 yen. Include fishing stuff, permit, snack and beverage. *Please have your transportation fee approximate 2,200 yen.
