Went to fly fishing for Pale chub and it was last fly fishing in this year, maybe.

Catfish in Tokyo

 I went to lure fishing to Tamagawa river in Tokyo on Saturday. Tamagawa river is the most popular  river in Tokyo and we can fishing for Carp, Catfish, Smallmouth bass and Sea bass. Usually I'm fishing for smallie at daytime and for catfish at night.

We often go to kayak fishing for Japanese Sea bass to Tokyo bay. But we can Sea bass fishing from river bank if you want to go quick fishing at evening.

My family and I went to Iriomote island where is almost southwest end of Japan and mangrove jungle island. There is subtropical island.

Last fishing at Oshino in 2016 season

It was last weekend in September and it mean also last weekend before off season of trout fishing of many stream.
And Yoshi and I went to "Oshino" in hard rain.

Kevin and I went to "Oshino", the spring creek on 2nd day. Oshino is the mecca of fly fishing in Japan and many fly fishermen gathering at popular point every time.

My friend Kevin came to Tokyo from Colorado and went to fly fishing two days.

First day, we went to "Yozawa fly fishing stream" that is a private mountain river in Tokyo. And it takes two hours from Shinjuku, one of biggest terminal in Tokyo by train and bus.

I went to fly fishing to "Yozawa fly fishing stream", one of private trout river in Tokyo and it takes two hours by train and bus from Shinjuku major station.

The big typhoons came three times in a month and the stream is high rise too much in mountain river. So it's difficult for fly fishing in there.

And I went to casual fly fishing to Tamagawa, urban river in Tokyo.

Went to fly fishing to local pond in rice field and I caught some Wataka fish!

Trip again for Salvelinus on fly fishing

Went to Fukui prefecture again for Salvelinus fishing. There is a rain forest that something fairy lives. It's true!

Salvelinus trip for the first time in almost a year

Went to quick fishing just two ours with my friend. It was too much fine day and slow however finally he got a small Yamame on lure.

Our team and I went to annual fishing trip to lake Hibara, Fukusshima pref. for Smallmouth bass.
