Stan and I went to Catfishing to Tamagawa river, last Friday.

I went to small stream and fished up nice trout!

Mayfly with wally wing

I like quill winged mayfly dry and I tied another style mayfly today.

Time for the butcher

Few days ago, I wanted to tying "Jock" that is simplified version of the "Jock Scott" the world's No 1 famous salmon fly.

As you know, it have to using white tip blue mallard wing but it's little parts of quill. Actually almost blue wing are remain.

Then, I was tying also "Butcher" on blue mallard. It's simple and beautiful too, isn't it?

Grouse as wetfly

These are one of my favorite Grouse's wetfly as caddis/sedge and it will be imitation of terrestrial insect at summer.

I received turkey and grouse wings from my best friend who lives in Canada and I tied some wetfly. So went to trial at Oshino.

Wisteria and fly fishing

Someone who is "Tenkara" master said, it may be fly fishing season when the wisteria bloom in mountain. 

Actually there are many hatch mayfly and caddis and you may see also beetles in a mountain. It's now!
