My friend WH and I went to fishing for Kawamutsu that is one of carp family and scientific name is Nipponocypris tenmminckii.
Generally, kawamutsu will be grow up to 15 or 16 cm. Actually we caught those size of fish.

Biggest fish on fly of the day is 15 cm, I caught on Royal coachman #12.
It isn't trout but there are really beautiful, i think. How do you feel about Kawamutsu?
