Reservoir trip on packraft

If you wanna feel nature in Tokyo, I recommend trip to the Okutama area. There’s a mountain side of Tokyo and it takes two hours by train from Shinjuku where is one of biggest terminal in the world.

A sunny day in May, Nicolas and I went to packrafting-fishing to Nagatogawa river where is one of branch of Tonegawa river and there is also famous bassfishing river.

Yamame in the my home mountainstream

It’s over Hanami season and young green leaves growing in trees in forrest now. Yes, it means opening the fly fishing mid-season!
Actually, I watched many kind of aquatic insect in here and there in the river on the day. It was lovely and peaceful landscape for fly fisherman, right?

Kundi and I went to stalking carp to Tamagawa river, Tokyo and he dot nice one!

First fishing trip to Oshino in new season

March 15th is opening day of trout fishing in Oshino where is a part of Katsura gawa and our usual fly fishing place.
And I went to fishing trip to Oshino on 16th. It was still cold and bit snowing at evening but several trout made me hot!

First fly fishing trip 2019 in snow river

My friend Snuf and I went to first fishing trip in 2019 to the private "catch and release" river where is in Gunma pref and it takes three hours drive from Tokyo.

A carping day

This was my last fishing in 2018 year and it's a carping day.

Oikawa / Japanese pale chub on fly

It was a kind of urban flyfishing and caught many number of Oikawa that is Japanese pale chub and so lovely.

Bluegill, it's healing time

 I had canceled fishing trip to Okinawa islands for big typhoons and I went to local pond for bluegills. Then I took video and watch it please if you are interest.

Last fishing at Oshino in this season

 I went to fly fishing trip to Oshino, last Sunday and it was final fishing day at there in 2018 season.

 It was fine day and still hot as mid summer at daytime.

 You know, Japanese mid summer is too much hot for wear something wader in river. And a kind of mountainstream angler likes Ninja style wading!

Fly fishing trip in Belgium

 My family and I went to summer trip to Germany and Belgium and I could fishing just one day in Belgium. It was my first fly fishing trip in Europe!
