June 14 and 15.
We went to annual summer camp to Lake Hibara/Hibarako in Fukushima, Japan. There is fantastic place and the mecca of Smallmouth bass fishing in Japan.

SN fished up a big char last time and remember it everyday! So he booked fishing on weekday. You know, he can't back serious citizen, too late! ;)

Warm water fly fishing from kayak

May 18th.

Today's guest HK and I went to kayak fly fishing for bass. There are every type of Bass's water in Tokyo area if it can takes two hours: clear lake, muddy pond, river and canal. We chose a canal.

You may think that is the Fenwick rod if you like vintage stuff.
But it's Japanese domestic maker OLYMPIC.
Actually it's copy products of Fenwick.
