Downriver camping in Ketagawa river, Shizuoka, Japan

□ □ □ □ □

This river trip was my first downriver in a while and went to Ketagawa river in Shizuoka.

The Ketagawa is a famous river as Clearwater however the stream was a murky white color from the impact of typhoon about two weeks ago.

Also water rising and we had fun kayaking in mountain-stream very much.

Our party has six paddlers. Five kayakers; two veterans and three beginners, and I. I was paddling single-blade paddle as canoe.

The grade of rapid was up to "class 2".

There were little danger spots and almost easy paddling.

In midstream, we jumped in the rapid or lied down on the kayak and viewing cloud in the blue sky.
