We went to down river to Nagatoro district of Arakawa in a long while.
At first we had a plan go to Mitake district of Tamagawa but that is water rising and there are many difficulties for beginners in our team now and we changed paddling to Nagatoro.
However we arrived at Nagatoro, there was rising water too. We had enjoy impressive whitewater and there were good training for paddling. |
As you may know, Nagatoro is one of most famous water-activity spot close to Tokyo. Actually visitors were play kayaking, rafting, Japanese style boating and camping.
It was super lovely day for boating because there were very strong and fast stream and many rapids.
And everybody said "AWESOME!" on the water. ;D
Well, recently I'm challenging canoe on single paddle in the river and now I feel confident about paddling class 3 rapid. That's great whitewater running!
After the river, we had a barbecue and chatting about canoeing.
