Kayak fishing at Tokyo bay

April 22.

You did it, Martin!

Canadian visitor Martin and our team went to kayak fishing for Seabass / Japanese sea perch at Tokyo bay.

First of all, we have to walk along water edge.

Here we go!

Fish on!

Katsuya caught small one.
He is the most famous kayakfisherman and pronoun of Kayakfishing in Japan.

Masamtsu, caught Seabass.
He is specialist of kayakfishing too.

There are shallow flat and 4 to 6 feet depth.

Move to next point.

Beautiful green algae and Rapala minnow as perch.
But perch isn't in Japan. Just I like it. :))

I fished up bigger one in the current rip.

See you next time.

Seabass is the pronoun of gamefish in salt water in Japan and they grow up 100 cm length in general. So these fishes that caught by us are boys yet..

Watch the vessel.

Martin, how do you feel about your first kayaking? :)

Accurate casting and,

Fish on!

You did it, Martin!

The fish condition was very slow on the day and finally we caught 6 Seabasses. :(
Martin, you said, had never kayaking in own life but your paddling was very good.
Join us if you are interested in Kayak fishing again! We will catch bigger fish on October or November.

Keep paddling and tight line!
