Japanese "Sea" dace / Pacific redfin

Tribolodon brandtii

We call this fish to "Maruta-Woogooi" or "Maruta" and normally they live in sea. But they are entering to the river for spawning on Spring.

The fish weights 1 - 1.5 kg and 40 - 60 cm.
If you wanna try to fish, I recommend 9 ft. and 6 to 8 wt. rod, floating line, #8 to 12 sized BH nymph, egg, woolly bugger or all attractors.
Of  course you can enjoy also lure fishing. Recommended 5-15 g. spoons.
